I’ve found that these “Weekend Recaps” are more like half-week recaps but oh well! Thursday evening I traveled to Frederick, Maryland to meet up with Greg + Amanda for their engagement session. We explored this cute little park right off of North Market Street that I had no clue even existed! Even though there were tons of people there playing baseball, walking their dogs or jogging we managed to find a few secret spots to have a couple sweet, private moments. I will be sharing more from their engagement session tomorrow on the blog so stay tuned!

Greg & Amanda’s Engagement

Bright & early Saturday morning I photographed the Wunder family at the Historic Union Mills Homestead right outside of Westminster. Since there was a wedding there later that day we started extra early and beat anyone arriving to set up! We beat the heat and got the softest early morning light- it was perfect. They even brought their Yorkie, Sadie, along for some portraits- AH! I love her!! While they were changing Sadie and I sat in the parking lot and I rubbed her belly, gotta love how sweet yorkies are! Wunder Family Portraits

 

 

Sunday morning, after breakfast with my family, I spent the morning prepping & gathering everything to make the trip to Northern Virginia for Max & Carly’s wedding! Usually, my mother, Stephanie, is my assistant at my weddings but this time I finally convinced my other half to join me. Eddie & I packed up the car and hit the road. I knew this wedding would be special but it was so much more exciting knowing Eddie could finally see me in action and see what I actually do for a living. (Eddie usually works out of town so weekends are our only time together- problem is I usually am out of the house on weekends working so, we never see each other. So this weekend was a blessing so have him by my side). I am even more excited he got to meet Max & Carly! Max & Carly have been together for over ELEVEN years and I knew from the moment I met them that their love for one another was extraordinary. Their wedding was absolutely perfect, even with the rain. It was so beautiful I overheard Carly telling people she didn’t even notice the storm rolling in when she was walking down the aisle, all she could see was Max. AH!! How cute is that? I am absolutely smitten over these two and cannot wait to share more from their wedding on Friday! Hope you guys are having a wonderful time in Italy!
