Good morning everyone! Meet Dominic & Julia!! These two high school sweethearts actually went to high school with me many years ago, haha! After dating for a while in high school, life took Dominic and Julia separate ways but they never lost touch. Dominic enlisted in the Army and they didn’t see each other until two years after they ended things, being the day before he left for deployment in Afghanistan. They wrote to each other the whole time he was deployed. Upon his return to the States, they rekindled our relationship! Dominic was pulled form Afghanistan after he was informed that he was accepted to West Point Military Academy in West Point, New York. Although Julia was juggling being a full time student, cheering professionally and working part time, she traveled to NY every weekend just to spend a day with him when she could! (How sweet!!) Dominic proposed to Julia while overlooking a gorgeous sunset in the exact spot he promised to ask her to marry him years before. An absolute dream proposal! Dominic, Julia and Sammy (their adorable pup!) zipped down to Maryland last weekend to capture their engagement portraits at the Historic Union Mills Homestead. I absolutely ADORE these two and cannot wait for their wedding in Fort Myers, Florida next June!! Enjoy! xo
