The second I landed Monday evening at BWI I turned on my phone to start answering any emails/ messages I had missed over the weekend. I logged into Facebook & there was a message from Max in my inbox “Hi Lauren! I have a few questions for you?!” and he didn’t need to say anything else, I already knew what he was going to ask! After chatting for a little he let me know he was planning to propose to his long-time girlfriend Dani on Tuesday and would like me to photograph it (I KNEW IT!!) Ah! I was ecstatic! Dani & Max have been together for quite some time and I know Dani has just been waiting for the moment she could say YES!! I met Max at the Union Mills Homestead to pick out the perfect spot around noon yesterday- we walked around, he showed me the ring, and he kept saying how nervous he was! (So cute) I think I was just as nervous as he was… You cant redue a proposal moment! So, I waited to get that text from Max later that day that it was go time- once I received it I headed over quickly to the Homestead and picked out my hiding spot. (Ps I hid under a huge tree/bush thing and it was hilarious. People walking by kept staring at me and asking me why I was under there- I just laughed) Once they arrived they took a little walk & once he got to the spot we discussed I came out of hiding and photographed him getting down on one knee through the tree! It was so perfect- he cried, she cried, I cried! Once she said yes he looked my way- Dani finally saw me and started laughing. It was so precious. While we were there we grabbed a few shots of them together before they headed off to meet their friends to celebrate!  It was an absolutely perfect proposal & I was so happy I could be there to be apart of it.
