This “Weekend Recap” is more like a “Full Week Recap” since I have been away from blogging for a FULL WEEK! Last Friday, Eddie + I packed up our car and headed to South Carolina at 4AM for my week-long birthday celebration. It was filled with lots of relaxation at Surfside beach, sweet tea and nights out on the infamous “Marsh Walk”. Since its mid-wedding season I really wanted to make sure I took advantage of this time to make sure I caught up on sleeping & focus more on “being in the moment”. Running your own business can be hectic at points & I began to notice I was living on my social networks/ emails. So during our time in South Carolina I was UNPLUGGED and it was AWESOME. I took ZERO pictures on my phone & I answered ZERO emails – it was the best decision I’ve made this year. I came back this weekend completely refreshed and ready to take on the rest of this amazing wedding season!

I did, however, meet up with the SWEETEST couple [Matt + Kara] on Wednesday evening to capture their Engagement Session! Surfside Beach is located at the southern most part of Myrtle Beach & it was the absolute perfect location for their evening shoot. The way these two look at each other you can just tell how absolutely head over heels in love they are. Blue, white & a flower in her hair… Absolutely swooning over how precious these two are <3 Heres a little sneak peak at their session!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Tom + Ashley’s GORGEOUS wedding day!! Their wedding took place at the Country Club of York in York, Pennsylvania and every single details of this wedding was absolutely perfect! (I mean, they had ombrè flowers… How. Awesome.) I cannot wait to share more from this wedding later this week on the blog! Be prepared for a Ravens/ Steelers showdown!
